The Connected Hubs initiative is a trans-formative project by the Government of Ireland, designed to revitalize towns and villages across the country by promoting Hub working. Managed by the Western Development Commission and the Department of Rural and Community Development, it is part of the broader strategy, Our Rural Future.
The initiative supports the development of vibrant, inclusive economies by providing a network of over 350 Hubs, with plans to expand to 400 by the end of 2024. These Hubs offer a variety of services tailored to the needs of remote workers, startups, and businesses, including workspaces, specialist facilities, and business support programs.
The goal is to create a flexible work environment that benefits personal and family life, stimulates community growth, and encourages sustainable economic development. The Irish National Hub Network thus stands as a beacon of innovation and community-driven progress.
