Hosted by FabLab, this workshop provides a fantastic opportunity to dive into the basics of laser cutting and gain the skills to create your own design from start to finish.

What to Expect

During this workshop, participants will be introduced to the foundational concepts of laser cutting, covering everything from the basics of design to the operation of a laser cutter. Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some design experience, you’ll receive guidance through each step of the process. This session will cover:

• Design Basics: Learn how to create designs that can be laser cut, focusing on shape, line thickness, and material suitability.
• Operating the Laser Cutter: Get hands-on experience operating the laser cutter, setting parameters like speed and power, and understanding safety measures.
• Creating Your Own Project: By the end of the day, you’ll leave with a custom-made piece you created yourself using the skills you've learned!
