Cavan County Council, Cavan Arts, and local representatives are proud to present the official launch of Cultur Cavan Creatives — a dynamic new initiative celebrating creativity, diversity, and sustainability in the heart of Cavan.

What is Cultur Cavan Creatives?

It’s a brand-new digital platform for writers and artists in Cavan and beyond, developed by Cavan Creatives, Eco Arts & Culture for All, and Cavan Connects. The platform aims to amplify creative voices across communities, cultures, and borders.

Launch Highlights

Official unveiling by the Cathaoirleach of Cavan County Council and H.E. Daniel R. Espiritu, Philippine Ambassador to Ireland
Funded by Creative Ireland through the Creative Cavan programme
Inclusive art exhibit featuring works that explore:
- Cultural diversity and Ireland’s growing multicultural landscape
- Cross-border and cross-cultural creativity, beginning with artists from Cavan and Longford
- Sustainability and eco-consciousness in artistic practice
- Inclusion of marginalised voices, including migrants, LGBTQ+ creatives, and artists with disabilities
Diverse literary performances showcasing the richness of local and international storytelling
