Cavan County Council and Cavan Connects are finalist in four categories at the eGovernment Awards.
Empowering Communities through Digital Innovation and Inclusion recognises the partnership’s work supporting digital access, confidence, skills and innovation across County Cavan.
The project reflects a shared commitment to ensuring that rural communities can benefit from digital services and opportunities, while helping people and organisations participate fully in an increasingly connected society.
The winners will be announced on Thursday, 24 September 2026, at O’Reilly Hall, UCD, Dublin 4.
The day will include a morning Leadership Summit, where An Taoiseach Micheál Martin will address senior public-sector transformation leaders, followed by panel discussions. The finalist reception and awards ceremony will culminate in the presentation of trophies by Jack Chambers, Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Services, Reform and Digitalisation.
Cavan County Council and Cavan Connects are proud to have the project recognised nationally and look forward to celebrating with fellow finalists in Dublin.
