Use of technology in a creative practice
Join us for the inaugural Cavan Makerthon—a free, hands-on event for artists, designers, and makers who want to explore how digital tools can enhance and transform their work.
Brought to you by DS3, in partnership with Cavan Arts Office and Fab Lab MH, this event offers intensive group sessions and 1:1 mentoring across a range of creative technologies, including:
3D printing (ceramic & plastics)
Laser cutting & engraving
CNC routing
Digital embroidery & vinyl cutting
3D scanning & digital screen printing
VR for design
AI for 3D modelling
Robotics, sensors & interactive systems
Whether you’re curious about trying new tools or ready to integrate them into your practice, the Makerthon is designed to help you experiment, learn, and connect.
