A STEM showcase for primary pupils to present projects, explore hands-on exhibits, enjoy magical science, and win awards.

STEMtacular is back — a FREE two-day STEM celebration for primary schools taking place on Wednesday, 25th February and Thursday, 26th February 2026 in Ballinamore, Co. Leitrim!

Open to 2nd–6th class, the day is packed with incredible experiences, including:

Student STEM project showcases
Hands-on STEM exhibitors — present the weather with Met Éireann, meet real-life reptiles, explore a cave in VR, and more
A magical performance from RTÉ’s Joe the Magician
Our amazing MC, Mark the Science Guy
A sensory area and supports to ensure all students can enjoy the day comfortably

Students will build confidence, discover new skills, and have the chance to win fantastic prizes — including a class trip!
